This newly created Financial Controller position is an exciting and rare opportunity to support and enhance the existing finance function of this exceptionally successful UK mid market Private Equity Investment firm.

Candidates will possess a strong drive and determination to perform and progress within mainstream finance within Private Equity.

Day to Day responsibilities will include:

- Fund Accounting
You will be responsible for all liaison with the third party finance function on all general Fund accounting matters as well as all Tax Reporting, Call Distribution and Investor records and request.

-  Control of the Firm's finances
Working closely with the FD to review, redesign and enhance the production of management information including Budget Preparation, Forecasting and monitoring and analysis of abort costs.

-  Investor Reporting
You will be required to enhance the existing offering in this area by designing and maintaining data room documents, being quick to respond to all ad hoc investor queries and ensuring that all information packs are produced to an exception standard.

Successful candidates will have a strong academic track record including a degree (or equivalent) and possess a chartered accountancy qualification (or equivalent). You will have a solid background in external audit and may well have worked with Private Equity businesses in this capacity. Candidates with additional experience may already be working directly within Private Equity.

Candidates will be able to illustrate a keen eye for detail, a real can do attitude and have the aptitude and enthusiasm to become engrossed in the day to day activities of the business. You will be inquisitive by nature and have a real drive and determination to work within this field in this sector. This is a dynamic and fast paced environment.
