This leading UK Investment Management business is looking for a Business Analyst to join its central finance team. The team is responsible for providing financial information and analysis across this area, including monthly management information (MI), support of new business initiatives, and responsibility for managing the annual planning process.

As a qualified accountant you must be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills, an ability to question and understand financial data and have significant experience in the analysis of financial information via the possession of relevant track record in a financial or management accounting position.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the finance relationship with several P&L owner,  including responsibility for producing monthly Management Information (MI), analysis and commentary relating to those P&Ls.
• Responsibility for the co-ordination and production of the monthly/quarterly business review packs.
• Responsibility within a team for production of the monthly BU Board Papers, and related analysis and commentary.
• Sensitivity analysis on full year forecast results.
• Responsibility within a team for delivering the annual planning process within the business.
• Production of monthly and quarterly New Business and analysis
• Work with the management accounting team to ensure accuracy of results.
• Ad-hoc project work as requested.
